For 2 year olds, Dance Centre provides classes that teach the beginnings of dance, as well as independence. These Twinkle Toes will be starting on the road into the world of music and movement.
For 3 and 4 year olds, Creative Movement teaches the basics of ballet and tap. At this level your child will be learning their first dance steps.
For Kindergarteners and 1st graders, Combo Classes offer your child the ability to study ballet, jazz and tap in one extended class. Your child will get a taste of each style, which will help determine what your child should study next. |

For children six and up, Dance Centre offers classes in these types of dance:
Ballet is the building block of all dance, teaching control and grace. It never goes out of style. Students who excel in ballet often go onto pointe, the highest level of the ballerinaÕs art. Some students choose the increasingly popular lyrical style, which combines flowing balletic movement with contemporary music.
With its energy and rhythm tap is always a favorite. We offer both Broadway tap and Rhythm tap. Once learned, tap can be done regardless of age. It truly will stay with you forever.

Jazz is the dance that lights up Broadway. Using technique that comes from ballet, jazz is more expressive and energetic. Jazz is showy, incorporating tricks and group work, which is always a favorite to perform.
Finally, hip-hop is the modern expression of many forms of dance. Set to an urban beat, it is the dance of your childrenÕs generation. These are very popular classes, where many students excel without formal dance training.
For adults, we offer Hip-Hop, Latin and Belly Dancing.
