Dance Centre of the Hamptons opened twelve years ago with one teaching room and one teacher.
As a small studio Dance Centre was able to provide individual attention to each dancer. Currently with 400 students and 4 teaching rooms, we are still dedicated to each student, both as a dancer and a person.
Our teachers are as diversified as the art of dance. Each one has found their style and the age group that they teach best, and thatŐs what they teach. Our teachers have danced on Broadway, in movies and in music videos. They were trained and continue to take class from the best teachers in New York City. Their one common philosophy is that teaching the love of dance is as important as teaching the technique of dance.
Dance Centre offers our advanced students participation in intensive company work and competitions. We do not promote a star system. Hard work and dedication are rewarded. Regardless of your childŐs experience, every student receives our best.
Though only a few of our dancers will pursue dance professionally, all of our students will benefit from the self-confidence and teamwork that dance training and performing teaches. These attributes will last a lifetime.
Dance Centre is dedicated to the best for your child: the best teachers, the best facilities the best year-end recital. As dance educators, our interest is your childŐs personal development. Dance may be hard work, but it should also be great fun.
